The pair was once looking for an break out from their number one apartments in San Francisco, and this area had it all: place for John's canine to roam and gardens for his husband, Bruce Cooper, the chief of a FedEx store. The 3 pals requested contractor Bill Gibson of Kestrel Construction to transform their woodsy getaway. "The gardens began taking shape. We got chickens. The canine got used to the bounds of the property," says Morgan.
