Baltimore architect Bright colors, streamlined cabinetry, & creative touches combine on this kitchen built for an artistic Maryland family. The house owners have 4 kids & like to entertain, so the space had in an effort to accommodate that. Architect and fashion designer Mark Melonas of LUKE WORKS additionally faced the problem of molding an older house to suit the couple's unique taste. Working with inside fashion designer Sarah Reed, Melonas doubled the kitchen's area, took out the old home equipment and cabinetry, & added modern replacements and the couple's personal touches.

"It's truly rare that a kitchen is this personal," says Melonas. "These shoppers plan on staying here a long time, so they sought after it to be unique.
